Which trip impressed me the most???

The trip that I enjoyed the most was the trip we made to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. It was at New Year, and was a long time ago, so I can't remember all the details. I could remember before we went that I thought maybe I wouldn't survive this trip because it was winter, and I can't stand the cold. We planned to go in the hills where it would be even colder. I heard that sometimes the dew turned to ice there, but I decided to go because I needed some adventure in my life, lol.

On this trip there were four of us; my parents, my older brother and myself. The others could not go with us because they had to work, and my nephews had to go to school. We went with the family of my parents Boss, they had been there many time previously. The Boss' wife asked my parents to go with them and also asked my parents to take me. She would help to take care of me as her Mom was paralyzed, and she was used to looking after her.

We planned to set off about 4.30am, but my family is always late and we actually set out at 6am. This is a usual situation with my family. No wonder I am calm in chat, even though there are a lot of weirdoes there, because I have learned to be patient from my family, hehehe.

We arrived at Huay Nam Dung in the afternoon. There it was so cold and windy, that I wore a big coat with a hood and also wore socks which I would never normally do.

They rent tents to sleep there at night. My Mom was not sure that I could sleep in a tent, so she asked me whether I wanted to stay there, if not our family would go sleep in the town. I decided to stay there because, as I said before, I needed adventure, lol. The Boss' wife was the one that arranged everything, renting the tents, lamps, stove, and even bought the food. My Mom and brother went into the town to buy liquor, beer, and dishes. Meanwhile I sat in my wheelchair shivering, hahaha.

At night I moved into our tent that my family had got. Outside the tent the party continued. Late at night my Dad came back from the party. He fell asleep immediately, I know that because I could hear him snoring, lol. I listened to my Dad snoring for a while, and then I hear the Boss calling my Dad outside. He was so drunk and searching around trying to find our tent. In our tent we stayed as quiet as we could, even my Dad's snoring stopped, hahaha. He couldn't find our tent because there were a lot of tents that look alike. His wife and son tried to make him calm down and asked him to go to sleep. Then we heard someone cry out with pain, I thought the Boss had stepped on someone, lol.

In the morning we set off early to visit Doi Ang Khang. When we were in the car my brother said that he heard someone complaining about being stepped on in the night, but he couldn't see who is was because it was too dark. That made us all laugh.

We rented a house at Doi Ang Khang. There were a lot of beautiful flowers there, and it was much colder than Huay Nam Dung. I was so tired from traveling and I got a fever that evening, so I took a pill and went to sleep. It was really cold that night and I could hardly breathe because I had a blanket covering my head trying to keep warm.

In the morning my parents pushed my chair so I could see the beautiful flowers. Then we went and had breakfast. After breakfast we set off for Mae Sai, Chiang Rai.

At first I planned to cross to Burma to go shopping because things are so cheap there, but I didn't have an identity card, and also we were in a hurry because it was late afternoon and we had to visit another place. So I had to wait in the car with my Dad. My Mom asked me what I wanted, but I said that I didn't want anything as I was upset because I can't go with them. However, after my Mom left I called to her and told her that I wanted a web cam, hehehe.

When they were gone my Dad checked our car and found something wrong, but it was not a big problem. When everyone came back my Dad told them about the problem, so we had to split up from the Boss' family. They went somewhere that meant having to drive up a steep hill and that was not safe for our car. So we drove back to Chiangmai and stayed in a hotel for the night, and then returned home late the following morning.

Yahoooooo, I survived this trip.
